Learn While You Wait Nutrition Education Modules

A self learning module is a nutrition activity the participant can take to their seat and go through while they wait for the checks to be issued.  These modules were developed to address individual participant needs at their secondary nutrition education contact.  Once the participant completes the module, a designated staff member should evaluate their learning.  These modules are assigned at the certification appointment for their secondary nutrition education contact.  The contacts should be entered into ROSIE.  Remember to be sensitive to the fact that it may not be appropriate for non-literate participants.  They may require help from staff to complete a module.

These nutrition education modules were developed by students with their experience at local Milwaukee WIC Projects.

Assembling recommendations:  Pages are put in a binder and inserted in plastic sleeves so they last longer.  The first page is considered the cover.  It is best to put the pages back to back double checking the flow of the module.
